Men wanted for robbery

Anyone who recognises the men should call the investigating officer, Detective Constable Kwena Mashala.

The Jeppe SAPS is currently searching for several men in connection with an armed robbery in Benrose on February 17 this year.

According to the Jeppe SAPS spokesperson, Warrant Officer Richard Munyayi, the men robbed a 57-year-old woman and her colleague as they arrived at their place of work.

“It was just before 7am when the two arrived at work. They noticed a vehicle in the parking area but they thought it belonged to one of the security guards. As they were parking their car, a man holding a firearm in his hand exited the parked vehicle.

“The driver tried to escape by driving away but more men holding guns in their hands appeared from the company’s guard room and some from the parked vehicle. They ordered the pair to get out of the car,” said W/O Munyayi.

The men took a watch, ring, smart phone and an undisclosed amount of money.

“They then ordered the woman to lie down in the guard room. She lay there until she was called by her colleagues who told her the suspects were gone,” said W/O Munyayi.

Anyone who recognises the men should call the investigating officer, Detective Constable Kwena Mashala, on 078 214 7421 or 011 624-6021.
