Taxi crash injures 17

Seventeen patients were treated for minor to moderate injuries following a crash in Elandsfontein yesterday.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Barbara and Tunney roads.

It’s alleged that one taxi was driving on the wrong side of the road when it hit the other taxi head-on, pushing it into another vehicle and that vehicle into a tree.

A total of 17 patients sustained injuries.

The EMPD was on-scene to investigate further.
