Pupils donate to charity.

Pupils from Edenglen Primary School donated R8 000 and approximately R1 500 in animal food to Paws R Us.

The organisation is an animal rescue and re-homing group, and is a registered Non-Profit Company (NPC).

The four pupils, Danni Burger, Jamie Burger, Dylan Humphries and Jessica Humphries, raised the money at the Horwood’s Farm Easter Market on March 12.

The food, harnesses, leads, cones, treats, blankets and shampoo were donated by members of the community.

The Paws R Us NPC said they were grateful for the donations, which will be distributed to families with pets and who are in need.

The group also said the pupils should be proud of themselves.
