Two men were arrested for possession of suspected stolen property on March 10, shortly after 3am, in Denver.
The Cleveland SAPS spokesperson, Constable Mpho Mashakane, said the men were spotted by patrolling police officers as they were loading truck tyres onto a bakkie at the corner of Mimetes and Watkins streets.
“The bakkie was parked behind a truck, where the men were taking the tyres. They could not explain why they were loading the tyres. A 50-year-old man and a 53-year-old man were arrested. They will appear in court soon,” said Const Mashakane.
