Raising funds through Mini Oscars

The 10th annual Mini Oscars event, hosted by Mamba Strike Force, was held on Saturday last week at Edenglen High School.

The Mini Oscars was started in March 2006 by the Red Bin Brigade and like the Academy Awards, recognises talented little stars from various local pre-schools in and around Edenvale.

The schools that were nominated for awards this year included Elma Park Pre-Primary, Gina Kidz Paradise, Happy Kids Daycare Klopperpark, Monte Waldi Independent School, Petra Christian Pre-School, Purple Moss Nursery School, Stepping Stones Learning Centre and Trixi’s Kids Pre-School.

Funds raised were donated to the Little Eden Society and the Edenvale Care Centre Hospice.
