Businesses challenged to lend a helping hand

"We have always been involved in charity work and we help out in the community we work in."

Setbuild in Sebenza has made it its mission to lend a hand where it is needed the most.

This includes the Edenvale SPCA and Brainy Birds, which is a bird sanctuary in Edenvale.

“We have always been involved in charity work and we help out in the community we work in. I am passionate about animals and being involved with the SPCA is important to me. That is why we approached them to offer our assistance,” said Ms Tracy Maritz.

“We are currently making the SPCA signage because we believe it is important for the community to know there is an SPCA in Edenvale and to know where it is located,” said Ms Maritz.

She said the company also designed the SPCA vehicle logos and they are working on getting municipal permission to put SPCA information in some areas in Edenvale and the surrounding areas.

“There is a lot more that can be done to help these organisations and we are also trying to get our clients involved by donating items that are most-needed by these organisations.”

Ms Maritz urged people and businesses to come on board and assist where they can.

“When we come together, we can accomplish even more,” she said.
