Two men were arrested for possession of dagga in separate incidents in Malvern on Wednesday last week.
The Cleveland SAPS spokesperson, Constable Mpho Mashakane, said in the first incident police officers were patrolling along Hereford Street after 7am when they notice a 40-year-old man preparing dagga on the side of the road.
“He was preparing to smoke it. Police officers stopped and searched him. He was arrested after more dagga was found in his possession,” said Const Mashakane.
In the second incident, a 32-year-old man was arrested shortly after 6pm, while driving along Marathon Street.
“The car was stopped and the driver was searched. Dagga was found in his possession,” said Const Mashakane.
