Greenstone woman caught for possession of heroin

The Tembisa Cluster's successes for last week included 226 arrests.

The Tembisa Cluster detained a female suspect for possession of heroin with a street value of R200 000.

According to the Edenvale SAPS acting communications officer, Warrant Officer Jean Olckers, the suspect, a 31-year-old woman, is a Greenstone resident.

He said the arrest was made on January 8 at Festival Mall in Kelvin Street, Kempton Park.

“Members of the Pretoria K9 unit arrested the suspect. She will appear in the Kempton Park Court on Monday, facing charges of possession and dealing of narcotics,” he said.

In addition, W/O Olckers said the Tembisa Cluster’s successes for last week included 226 arrests.

He said the arrests included five suspects arrested for murder, three for rape, nine for business robberies and house break-ins.
