Police reservists acknowledged

"It is not easy to do volunteer work. Some of them, if not all, have families who wish that one day they too could be salaried."

The Sebenza Community Policing Forum’s (CPF) executive committee thanked police reservists for the work they do in keeping the community safe.

Mr Andrew Mosesi, the Sebenza CPF chairman said, “We thank the SAPS members in general for their dedication in serving our communities. We believe and trust in them to keep us and our families safe from heartless criminals.”

The Sebenza CPF executive committee gave Christmas gifts in the form of groceries to the Sebenza police station’s six reservists, who have been serving their committee for over seven years. One of them is now serving as a reservist for over 11 years.

“It is not easy to do volunteer work. Some of them, if not all, have families who wish that one day they too could be salaried. May God Almighty bless them in abundance,” said Mr Mosesi.

He also thanked the community of Cresslawn and Esther Park, also as far as Midrand, who responded positively when the Sebenza CPF requested assistance.
