Saheti girls shine at competition

The pupils vowed to continue to make a difference in the community and to touch the lives of the people around them.

Saheti pupils Athena Munn, Alexia Munn and Christina Bourtsouklis participated in this year’s Miss SA Schools finals.

The event took place at the Carousel in Bela-Bela on October 31.

Athena won in the Miss SA Schools Grade 5 to 7 category and also clinched the Miss Public Choice and Miss Media titles in her age category.

Alexia is the Miss SA Schools Grade 2 to 4 category winner.

Christina emerged as the Miss SA Schools Overall Junior winner as well as Miss Public Choice. She received awards for Best Project and Best Interview in the Grade 2 to 4 age category.

The girls will be working closely with Ms Elize van der Merwe and CANSA TLC for the next year.

They have many charitable projects they will be working on.

The pupils vowed to continue to make a difference in the community and to touch the lives of the people around them.
