#WaterCrisis – Reservoir levels critically low, more areas to be affected

If the situation in all of the areas above deteriorates further, the City will implement water shedding measures and shut off supply from 10pm to 3am.

The City of Ekurhuleni continues to appeal to residents and businesses to use water sparingly.

This as temperatures continue to soar, putting a strain on water supply.

There is currently no water in the following areas of Germiston:

Water tankers are available at the following locations:

The levels in the reservoirs supplying the following areas are at a critical level and there may be low water pressure:

Southern parts of Ekurhuleni 

Northern parts of Ekurhuleni 

Eastern parts of Ekurhuleni 

Consumers in all areas are urged to adhere to the following measures:

Water levels at reservoirs will be continuously monitored by the City and water shedding measured will be implemented as required.
