Kensington Sea Scouts perform well in regatta

The Sea Scouts offers children between the ages of 7 and 18 the opportunity to learn sailing, canoeing and rowing in a fun and safe environment.

The Third Kensington Sea Scout Troop took fourth place in the recent Provincial Sea Scout Sailing Regatta.

The event was hosted by the Florida Lake Sea Scouts, at Florida Lake.

Wendy Sorour and Kayleigh Karam took first place in the Fireball Class and Robert Clark took second in the Laser Class, while Ioan Paphitis and his crew came second in the Open Class and Robert Brits came third in the Oppie class.

The Sea Scouts offers children between the ages of 7 and 18 the opportunity to learn sailing, canoeing and rowing in a fun and safe environment.

The youngsters learn leadership, teamwork, survival and many other life skills while enjoying the outdoors, camping and hiking.
