A vehicle stolen at Greenstone Crescent this morning was recovered in Evaton.

The vehicle owner, Ms Bernadine Pienaar, said she had parked the car and went inside the gym. A few minutes later and her car was gone.

“I parked and went inside the gym. As I stepped on the treadmill, I noticed my car was gone, hardly five minutes after I had walked in,” said Ms Pienaar.

Shortly after the vehicle theft was reported to the police, the vehicle tracking company called Ms Pienaar to inform her that her car had been recovered in Evaton – but all her belongings were gone. Ms Pienaar said some of the items stolen with the vehicle include two cellular phones, a laptop, school uniforms, her ID book, driver’s licence, bank cards and cash.
