Library to host book sale
Friends of Modderfontein Library will host their last monthly book sale for 2015 on Saturday, November 7.
The Friends of Modderfontein Library will host its last monthly book sale for 2015 on Saturday, November 7.
Sale tables will be outside the library, which is located in Queen Street, Modderfontein, opposite the shops.
A large selection of good quality second hand books and magazines will be available at reasonable prices.
Members of the public are invited to browse the book sale tables for interesting books and/or hidden treasures.
The book sale opens at 9.30 am and ends at 12.45 pm.
Donations of books in a good condition are accepted and can be dropped off at the library during the week or on Saturday mornings. Funds raised by this initiative are used to support the Modderfontein Library. Inquiries can be directed to the librarian on 011 608-0421 or to modderfriends@gmail.com
Please note that the Modderfontein Library will be closed for stocktaking from November 2 to November 7. Members of the public are welcome to visit the book sale but will not be able to visit the library on Saturday.
