According to Disaster and Emergency Management Services’ (DEMS) media liaison officer, William Nladi, the crash delaying traffic on the N12 at the Edenvale off ramp was due to a truck collision.
“DEMS received a call at about 2.25am. On arrival we found a code 14 articulating truck, bakkie and a large motor vehicle had been involved in the collison,” said Mr Nladi.
He said the truck had attempted to brake and collided into the other two vehicles. He reported that three patients were accounted for and were transported to Rose Acres Hospital In Primrose. He said that they had sustained minor injuries.
