Vice chairperson Ms Amanda Schreyer said Ms Boyce's demonstration focused on helping artists get over the conundrum of what is considered to be plagiarism.

Well-known portrait artist Ms Lynda Boyce held a demonstration for the Paint & Palette Group recently.

Vice chairperson Ms Amanda Schreyer said Ms Boyce’s demonstration focused on helping artists get over the conundrum of what is considered to be plagiarism.

“Ms Boyce is talented and works on various art projects,” she said.

Ms Boyce said she is not only a portrait artist.

“I am currently expanding my platform. I am interested in how art in the country can be expanded and used without stealing or plagiarising,” said Ms Boyce.

The event was well attended and Ms Lorraine McKeand, who was the chairlady in 2001, said the Paint & Palette Group has grown and many of the attendees are teachers who give art classes.
