Full-time portrait artist to visit Edenvale
Ms Boyce works in pastel, pen and ink, water colours and acrylics, oils, and even mixed media.
A full-time portrait artist, Ms Lynda Boyce, will host a technological demonstration of the do’s and dont’s with practical easiness for the Paint & Palette Group on September 19.
She was commissioned, among others, to do the portraits of the mayoral couple of Edenvale in the 1980s.
Ms Boyce works in pastel, pen and ink, water colours and acrylics, oils, and even mixed media.
She has recently expanded her platform by researching the South African Copyright Laws.
Her special emphasis is helping artists using reference material without committing plagiarism.
The event will take place at the Edenvale Community Centre at the corner of Van Riebeeck Avenue and Second Street.
The demonstration will be at 2pm.
