Crafters get ready for fair

The fundraising event offers creative members of the public the opportunity to showcase their hand-made products at a cost of R150 per trader.

The Elphin Lodge Craft Fair will take place on September 19 from 9am to 1pm.

Home-made lemon curd, jams, preserves and pickles, all made by Elphin Lodge resident Ms Denise Sherel, will be on sale at the Craft Fair.

Assisted by fellow resident Mr Eddie Johns, Ms Sherel is busy preparing all kinds of goodies to sell at the event.

She will be joined by a host of other handy people who will offer their unique wares for sale.

The village coffee shop, Elphino’s, will be open for tea, scones and other light treats.

Everyone is welcome to join in the fun at the Rand Aid Association-run Modderfontein Road village.
