Church helps uplift community
Church preserve dignity of the donations receivers by selling items to them.
Abundant Life Assemble of God in Kensington held a jumble sale on Saturday last week.
Pastor Lorraine Lun, from the church, said the sale was one of the mechanisms the church uses to help uplift the community.
“We received donations from many people,” she said.
Pastor Lun said the church works to uplift people spirituality and socially.
“We are running classes to address family issues and social ills. We also work to help the residents to build a relationship with God,” she said.
Pastor Lun said those who want to donate to the church can phone 011 614-1599.
