Thornhill Manor’s 14th anniversary celebrated

Residents and staff gathered to give thanks for the village they call home.

Over 14 years ago, the late Mr Noel Hinton and his wife Ms Joan Hinton, were the first people to sign up as life right residents of Rand Aid Association’s new Thornhill Manor retirement village.

On August 13, 2015, the residents and staff gathered to give thanks for the village they call home.

Thornhill Manor’s 14th anniversary was celebrated with a non-denominational thanksgiving service in the on-site chapel, followed by a brunch.

“We are so happy here, and are blessed to have good friends all around. There is so much for us to do, we can all be very thankful,” said Ms Lyn Peters, the Chapel Chairperson.
