Bedfordview SAPS has confirmed it is investigating a hijacking case involving a courier van carrying VISA applications intended for approval by the United Kingdom.
Spokesperson, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi said the suspects involved were wearing full Metro Police uniform and were driving a white Audi.
He said the incident allegedly took place near the Van Buuren offramp of the N3 highway. “The suspects stopped the driver of the van and asked to check the vehicle’s licence disk. The suspects held up the driver, drove off with him in the van and later dropped him off in Midrand,” said Sgt Nhlabathi.
