Paramedics, provincial services and other services are currently still at the scene following a collision involving two trains this evening in Booysens.
Emergency Services were met with a sight of chaos as commuters started making their way out of the trains and were standing and sitting around the area.
Paramedics are currently still attending to commuters but thus far approximately two hundred and fifty commuters, who sustained minor to serious injuries, have been treated and transported to various hospitals for further medical treatment.
Reports suggest no fatalities were reported.
Exact details for the cause of the accident and preceding events are unknown and will remain a subject of an investigation.
