In its continuous efforts to provide a stable and reliable water supply to consumers, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) will be continuing with maintenance work on the network in Edenvale.
On Thursday July 16, the traffic circle at the intersection of Laurie and Aitken Roads will be temporarily closed from 8am to allow for the installation of a new water pipe.
There will also be a planned water supply interruption that will affect parts of Edenvale on Thursday, July 16 from 8am to 4pm. The previously planned interruption for July 8 did not take place due to technical challenges with the installation.
The following areas will be affected:
* Eden Glen (North of Terrace Road and East of Van Tonder Street); * Illiondale; * Sebenza (North of Terrace Road, between Betschana Road and Tsaka Road in the west).
Residents are encouraged to store water for domestic use.
The EMM wishes to apologise for any inconvenience to be caused and reminds residents to keep all taps closed for the duration of the outage.
