Bedfordview beauty crowned Miss Teen Johannesburg
Tanielle will be an ambassador for the foundation during the year of her reign.
Tanielle Da Silva, a grade 8 pupil at Reddam House in Bedfordview, was crowned Miss Junior Teen Johannesburg 2015 at a glittering gala event held on June 20.
Ms Juanita Smit said the pageant is organised by the Role Models Foundation and Tanielle will be an ambassador for the foundation during the year of her reign. Her primary focus will be to raise funds and awareness for the Imfundo Educare Centre in Boksburg North.
Ms Smit said the Miss Junior Teen Johannesburg event is a philanthropic pageant and the girls are expected to do charity work.
“Tanielle has been working with the Role Models Foundation before being crowned and she will continue working with the foundation throughout her reign as Miss Junior Teen Johannesburg,” said Ms Smit.
Tanielle recently handed over her Miss South Africa Youth title that she won in 2014 and is excited about the year ahead as Miss Junior Teen Johannesburg 2015.
The Miss Teen Johannesburg pageant had an Asian theme this year.
Tanielle also won Miss Debutante for the most funds raised by a contestant for the Role Models Foundation.
