Edenvale residents are to take note of a planned water supply interruption on Wednesday, July 8, from 8am until 5pm.
According to Mr Themba Gadebe, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality’s (EMM) spokesperson, the interruption forms part of the EMM’s efforts to provide a stable and reliable water supply to residents.
“The EMM will be conducting essential maintenance work on the network,” said Mr Gadebe.
The planned maintenance will affect the following parts of Edenvale:
Eden Glen, north of Terrace Road and east of Van Tonder Street.
Illiondale and Sebenza, north of Terrace Road, between Betschana Road and Tsaka Road in the west.
Residents are encouraged to store water for domestic use during the interruption.
Mt Gadebe said the EMM apologises for any inconvenience to residents.
Residents are also advised to keep taps switched off during the supply interruption.
