Resident, Mr Charley Crowtcher, has taken it upon himself to start filling potholes near his home.
The growing number of potholes has become a dilemma for residents in Edenvale.
Resident, Mr Charley Crowtcher, has taken it upon himself to start filling potholes near his home.
“Potholes have become a problem in many areas. I am filling those in my road with cement because they have been here for two years and are getting bigger,” said Mr Crowtcher.
According to Mr Crowtcher, motorists who drive and try to dodge the potholes have damaged their cars.
“Near accidents have happened because vehicles are trying to drive around potholes,” he said.
The NEWS requested comment from the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality on June 23.
