Three men robbed an appliances shop, situated at the corner of Kruger and Mimetes streets in Denver.
The incident occurred on Friday morning, shortly after 10am.
The Cleveland SAPS communications officer, Constable Mpho Mashakane, said three men pretended to be customers when they arrived at the store.
“The suspects asked for quotations for some appliances. While the receptionist was preparing the documents for them, the men pulled out firearms. They entered one of the offices and demanded an undisclosed amount of money,” she said.
Const Mashakane said several employees and customers were treated for shock at the scene.
