The Yeoville SAPS is looking for Mr Lesley Kwenaite, in connection with a woman’s murder in 2012.
Mr Kwenaite is wanted for questioning.
According to the Yeoville SAPS communications officer, Constable Thabo Malatji, the victim comes from Alexandra and was strangled in a flat along Fortesque Street, Yeoville.
“Our investigations have revealed that the woman was strangled and then raped after she died. Investigations also found that her body was kept inside the flat for about eight days,” said Const Malatji.
“Mr Lesley Kwenaite was the deceased’s boyfriend. He is from Zebediela in Limpopo. He used to work at a gym in Bruma. There are some unconfirmed reports that he has cut off his dreadlocks. We believe he can assist with our investigations,” said Const Malatji.
