Bedfordview SAPS arrested a suspect for possession of stolen property on June 9.
A security guard told police officers he was on duty, patrolling the area, when he noticed a man carrying a black plastic bag walking on Civin Road.
“The security officer stopped the man and asked him to open the bag. The security officer found items which included clothing, jewellery and an undisclosed amount of money inside the bag,” said Bedfordview SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi.
“The man was not able to provide any proof of ownership for the items. He admitted to stealing the items from a store in Primrose,” he said.
