We have beefed up our news team even more with one of our own Caxton journalism cadets.
A versatile journalist, Busi Vilakazi is the latest addition to the vibrant news room.
She will mainly serve the Joburg East community, while doing some stories in the Bedfordview, Edenvale, Modderfontein and Sebenza areas.
Busi is one of the inaugural staff members of Emalahleni FM, a community radio station.
“I think I am one of those people who are diverse when it comes to media. I started at the first community radio station in Emalahleleni. I was a news reader, producer and a presenter at the station. But my passion has always been writing. I love telling people’s stories and giving them a voice,” she said.
“I hope to interact with our various communities,” said Busi.
