Ron Smith Care Centre resident, Ms Sylvia Walt, celebrated her 90th birthday on May 18.
Mrs Walt was born in Johannesburg in 1925.
She moved to the Rand Aid Association-run care centre towards the end of last year.
She is also a mother to three children, Cynthia, Mervyn and Ivan.
Mrs Walt has seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She is a vibrant lady with a great outlook on life.
