Drug search conducted at Edenglen High School

As was previously found in another high school in Edenvale last week officers also found an apple used by children to smoke dagga.

Members of the Edenvale SAPS, with the assistance of the Londoloza Protection Group, the Savika K9 Unit and RAPS K9 Unit, conducted an unscheduled drug search at Edenglen High School last week.

This follows an increase in drug-related discoveries at other high schools in the Edenvale area.

Three working dogs were used to search several classrooms at the school.

Officers recovered a small amount of dagga.

As was previously found in another high school in Edenvale, officers also found an apple used by children to smoke dagga.

Dogs also pointed out several locations used by school children to hide narcotics.

Further searches will be conducted at Edenvale schools in the future.
