While patrolling Bez Valley, the officers were approached by a man who said he is a manager at a bed and breakfast.

The Jeppe SAPS arrested two suspects for possession of a stolen motor vehicle on Monday, February 23.

According to Warrant Officer Richard Munyai, police officers were performing crime prevention operations when they received a message to be on lookout for a blue Mitsubishi Pajero, which was stolen in Rosebank.

While patrolling Bez Valley, the officers were approached by a man who said he is a manager at a bed and breakfast.

W/O Munyai said the man told the officers that suspicious men had rented a room at the lodge.

The officers proceeded to the lodge and found a blue Pajero parked outside the lodge.

The manager claimed that the suspicious men had brought the car with them.

Two suspects, both aged 39, were arrested and taken to the Jeppe SAPS.

Both suspects face a charge of possession of a stolen vehicle.

They will appear in court soon and police investigations are continuing.
