Influential speaker to attend AGM
There will also be a talk from Ms Juliet Price, a full time Roots and Shoots national sales manager.
The Modderfontein Conservation Society (MCS) and the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) have partnered to stage a presentation during the upcoming AGM.
The AGM is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, and will take place at the Modderfontein Town Hall at 7.30pm.
There will also be a talk from Ms Juliet Price, a full time Roots and Shoots national sales manager.
Ms Price will talk on the institute’s endeavours to create awareness among youngsters on key issues such as the environment, animals and helping communities in need.
She an extensive experience in relevant fields, including working for organisations such as the Delta Environmental Centre, Natural Scientific Services, Environmental Education Project, Johannesburg and Rand Water. She joined JGI in 2011.
JGI is an international conservation organisation working to preserve great apes by combining conservation with community education through the Roots and Shoots humanitarian programme, which uses educational initiatives to promote sustainable living.
