Man held as sex slave for four days

A 31-year-old man from Tembisa was allegedly gang raped by three women from Sunday afternoon to Wednesday morning last week.

According to the Tembisa SAPS Cluster’s communications director, Captain Manyadza Ralidzhivha, the victim was hitch-hiking in Germiston when he was given a lift by three women driving a BMW.

The women drove around with the man until they reached a garage behind the Oakmoor train station.

It is alleged that when he wanted to alight from the vehicle, the ladies demanded payment.

He told them he had no money.

“It is believed that one of the women produced a firearm and pointed it at the victim. Another woman took a cloth and blindfolded him,” said Capt Ralidzhivha.

The women then drove around with the man some more and eventually tied him up inside a garage.

“He was then gang-raped by the three women. He was kept as a sex slave until Wednesday morning when he was given a cold drink. After drinking the beverage, the victim claimed to feel sleepy.

He was awakened by some people who found him sleeping under a bridge in Olifantsfontein.

“He immediately came to the police station and open a case of rape. We are appealing to members of the community with information about the women to come forward or to SMS information to 32211. Residents with information can also phone the emergency number 08600 10111,” said Capt Ralidzhivha.
