Children amaze with original poems

Junior Ndlovu is only eight years old and thinks he is a future leader.

The JFB Poetry Class for February 28 saw 25 children attend the class.

“We are building these citizens to become accomplished writers. The plan is to help them focus on making school a success and achieve or improve their writing skills. I have a lot of faith in these children; they show a spirit of dedication and agility,” said Mrs Faradiba Morton.

“They possess the potential to become great leaders. I believe that we are on the right path with them. I urge the community to support our children at the Jozi Book Fair this year in September. Investing in the future of this country starts with the children and this will only happen if our community supports them to achieve these dreams. If their dreams come true, ours will too. We must dismantle poverty with education and that is how you become truly free,” she added.
