The Bedfordview SAPS arrested three men for possession of dagga in three incidents in Elandsfontein on Monday, February 16.
The Bedfordview SAPS communications officer, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi, said police officers were patrolling Atlas Road shortly after 7am when they spotted a suspicious man.
“When the officers searched the suspect, they found dagga in his pockets. He was subsequently arrested,” said Sgt Nhlabathi.
In another incident, police officers were patrolling along Bok Street when they stopped and searched another man.
Dagga was also found in the man’s pockets.
A third person was arrested after dagga was found in the boot of his Fiat Uno. The suspect was driving along Amber Road when he was stopped and searched.
Sgt Nhlabathi said the arrested men would appear in court soon.
