Residents encouraged to know their sector police

"Our people need to take note of these numbers and keep them safe for when they will need law enforcement".

At the recently held Bedfordview Community Policing Forum (BCPF) meeting, chairperson Mr Gavin Henry said many residents are unaware of which sector they fall under, let alone have the respective phone number for the area.

“Our people need to take note of these numbers and keep them safe for when they will need law enforcement,” he said.

Present at the meeting were community members, business people, senior officers from the Bedfordview SAPS, representatives from security companies, residents as well as councillors from wards 20 and 92, Clr Jill Humphreys and Clr Ashley Rutherford.
