SAPS arrest armed robber

According to Warrant Officer Richard Munyayi, the victim refused to hand over her cellular phone and the suspect stabbed her in the shoulder.

The suspect managed to grab a handbag and jumped out of the moving train.

W/O Munyayi said the handbag contained money, bank cards and shopping cards.

On Tuesday, February 10, the victim spotted the suspect sitting at the same station and notified the security guards.

The security guards apprehended the suspect and then phoned the SAPS.

The suspect was detained at the Jeppe SAPS, where he was charged with armed robbery.
