Nightclub security is outsourced and managed by a privately owned company.

Stones has confirmed that an incident took place outside its Bedfordview franchise on December 13.

Mr Corne Viljoen, the operations manager at Stones’ head office, said the franchise was aware of the incident which took place at around 2am on December 13.

He added that nightclub security is outsourced and managed by a privately owned company.

“The shopping centre also provides additional centre security.

“We do not wish to comment on anything further until the investigation has been completed,” said Mr Viljoen.
