1.2kg of drugs recovered from Edenglen townhouse

Community tip-off leads police officers to drugs.

The Edenvale SAPS, with the assistance of the Johannesburg K9 Unit, recovered 1.2 kilogrammes of Khat from a townhouse unit in Edenglen. The acting spokesperson for the Edenvale SAPS, Lieutenant Colonel Robbie Roberts, said the recovery took place after a tip-off was received from a member of the community. “No arrests were made,” said Lt Col Roberts.
