Saheti matrics pass with flying colours

Saheti School’s matrics of 2014 maintained the school’s 100 percent pass rate, something which has become a custom at the school over the years.

The school hit a record high of 3,03 distinctions per candidate. Four of the 61 matriculants received full-house distinctions in the IEB National Senior Certificate examinations.

In total, Saheti‘s pupils achieved 185 distinctions, with 92 percent of the group achieving a Bachelor Degrees pass.

The quality of distinctions bears testimony to the deeply entrenched custom of academic excellence, with 42 of the 185 distinctions ranging between 90 to 99 percent, across all subjects.

The executive headmaster of Saheti, Mr Warwick Taylor, was delighted at the school‘s performance and commended pupils for their hard work.

“I congratulate the Matrics of 2014 on their superb results. I am obviously very pleased about the Mathematics and English results, but I am delighted our students have also performed exceptionally well in all of their other subjects. This academic success is a result of 12 or more years of quality schooling and sustained hard work on the part of the pupils, with the support of their teachers and parents. I thank all the teachers, throughout all the grades, for their contribution in ensuring the success of our 2014 matrics. Bravo Saheti,” he said.
