Ceremony honours generous donors

Many companies and individual donors have shown their generosity to the Thembelami Care Centre by donating a range of items needed for the daily running of the centre and the survival of residents throughout the year.

The centre held a thanksgiving ceremony recently to thank the good Samaritans who continue to come to its aid.

Speaking on the day, Thembelami head Ms Elize Raath said, “I am blown away by the many acts of kindness shown towards the residents and staff.”

Thembelani relies on donors. Many of its residents are indigent and without the involvement of these donors, it will struggle to exist.

Ms Raath acknowledged companies like Otis, Infinitude Design and many other individual donors who continue to show support.
