The incident occurred on Sunday, December 8, at about 9pm.
The victim claimed she was at home with her boyfriend when her ex-boyfriend arrived with three friends.
The four men allegedly pushed her boyfriend away and told her to get dressed leave with them.
The victim refused but the suspects forced her. She was taken to the ex-boyfriend’s house.
On arriving at the house, only one of the men remained with the suspect. A woman also joined the group, allegedly the suspect’s friend’s girlfriend.
According to Warrant Officer Richard Munyayi, from the Jeppe SAPS, the victim claimed all four slept in one bed.
The victim claims this is when the suspect raped her.
The following morning, the victim told the suspect she was getting her clothing. She went to the SAPS and opened a case of rape.
The suspect was subsequently arrested and will appear in court soon.
Investigations are continuing.
