Load shedding implemented

During the load shedding periods, residents are urged to treat all electrical points and equipment as live at all times.

Eskom has confirmed that stage one load shedding has started.

Load shedding will continue until at least 8pm tonight.

Stage one allows for up to 1000 MW of the national load to be shed.
