When asked what her next goal was, Wendy said she was keen to gain as many awards as she could in the Ranger programme, which involves a lot more leadership, planning and community involvement.

She is looking forward to helping to empower young ladies to reach their full potential.

Wendy has been selected to represent South Africa Guiding at the World Scout Jamboree in Japan next year and is looking forward to sharing the beauty of South Africa with Guides and Scouts from around the world.
