A live demonstration was conducted by seasoned artist, Mr Carl Jeppe, on October 18.
Attendees had first-hand experience of the magic that goes into bringing a figure alive through pencil, as was demonstrated by Mr Jeppe.
His profile speaks volumes; he is a former lecturer at the former Technikon Pretoria, and has also lectured at the University of Pretoria’s Fine Arts Department.
He is well-travelled, having exhibited as far afield as South-East Asia, Portugal and the United States of America.
Mr Jeppe was a judge in prominent art competitions.
