Man died on the pavement

Two men have been arrested after a 40 year old man was found dead on the pavement next to Vickers and New Goch Roads intersections in Benrose on Sunday, November 9.

Jeppe SAPS communications officer, Warrant Officer Richard Munyayi  said that police were called to the scene after 12noon.

“On arrival police found a 40 year old man  lying dead on the pavement. The deceased was stabbed in the stomach with intestines protruding,” W/O Munyayi said.

He added that the man was certified died on the scene by the paramedics.

W/O Munyayi said that the two men were arrested on the scene and they will appear in court soon.
