Holy Rosary School was also selected as the venue to announce the launch of RISE Academy on the day.

Holy Rosary School recently hosted the South African electro pop music duo, Locnville, at the school’s U-Party on Saturday, September 20.

The event featured DJ Rikay, DJ RedCap and Dylan de Koning.

The RISE Academy initiative aims to offer future entertainment stars practical business skills as well as the opportunity to develop their talents.

The event was also attended by local celebrities such as the editor of People Magazine South Africa, Mr El Brodi, actor and television presenter Mr Lee-Roy Wright and television personality Ms Sade Giliberti.
