The Jeppe SAPS arrested a man for armed robbery on September 26 at about 10pm.
The victim alleged that he went to Heidelberg Road to help his brother with his vehicle which had broken down.
On arrival, and while he was busy helping his brother, they were approached by three men, two of whom had firearms. One of the suspects was armed with a knife.
The men allegedly robbed the victim of seven cellphones and R1 000 in cash.
Warrant Officer Richard Munyayi said a case was opened at the Jeppe SAPS and one of the suspects was arrested.
He was charged with armed robbery and detained. He will appear in court soon.
